How it all started:
After leaving the USAF because of a back injury in 2012, Bill delivered pizzas for over 6 years. In 2016 he was injured again and during that 6 month recovery we got our first reptiles. Starting with Bearded Dragons, and progressing on to Leopard Geckos, various tortoise and aquatic turtle species, and several other reptiles. At one point, he decided that he liked working with them so much that he wanted to start a business as a reptile breeder. The hunt was on for a species that could be responsibly bred in a 2 bedroom townhome. It turns out that Crested Geckos were the answer. After getting one to make sure that it was the right choice for us, we fell in love. After several years with them, Bill started vending reptile shows in 2019, and very shortly thereafter was vending full time at every show within reach. In August 2020 Leah joined Bill full time vending shows and we currently vend over 80 events per year across the country with our boys, Aaron (13) and Tristan (18).
In 2020 he got his first 3D printer and then 4 more within a year. Until October 2022 these were used to print things around the house and his own design for a gecko feeding ledge, hides, and other accessories for the animals. In October 2022, he saw a model for a 3D printed Axolotl and that kicked off a wild ride that leads to today. Bill runs the printers (over 2 dozen at time of writing in Jan 2024), and he and Aaron paint them all by hand.
